Chateau Pavillon Bel Air 2008 Lalande de Pomerol
As wine regions go, Lalande de Pomerol is typically a mixed bag. It’s not actually Pomerol, but one of the many satellite regions on the right bank of Bordeaux.
This is additionally confusing since there is a Chateau Bel Air in the Pomerol proper, as well.
This bottle is a very good example of a right bank Bordeaux with beautiful fruit aspects paired with a very rustic truffle and cedar elements. Make sure to decant for about an hour before serving.
