Summary:

An excellent example of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, with great verve and significant complexity.

Here is one for the Pinot geeks of the world.    Located in the Chehalem Mountains AVA, Five Mountain is one of the original Willamette Valley vineyards, dating back to 1978 and planted to early Pommard clones.
Dark cherry, cola, and tar notes on the nose and palate. This is a lean and bright bottling with enough tannic structure to allow this beauty to develop beautifully over the next two years. Varietally correct and showing a distinctly Burgundian character in the midpalate and finish. Highly recommended.
