The inky color might be an indication of the meaty and stewed fruit aromas awaiting on the nose. There’s even a hint of Asian spices in there, adding depth and interest to the wine. The well-balanced palate is highlighted by caramel and cherry flavors. And the finish, which lingers on for longer than you’d expect, is all sweet, deep fruit , cedar, vanilla pod, and cinnamon. Just delicious.
